95 dodge diesel cummins straight 6 24v (HELP)?

1. Starla Boom Says: Hello, I have a 95 dodge cummins 3500, It is my first diesel truck. and it was working fine. Today i decided to change the fuel filter and once I changed it, Now it doesnt want to start.. I dont see any fuel going to the injectors..! I purged the button more than 200 times. If it has air, how do I get it out..? I dont know what to do. Please help

2. dodge man Says: the injectors will automatically bleed their self out if all the air is out of the system,don't break the lines loose to bleed them,you got a 12 valve engine and their one of the easiest ones to work on,try checking the push pump for pressure,good luck

4. Zach Myers Says: 95 should be 12 valve, 24 valve didn't start until 98.

At this point the easiest way would be to pre fill the filter, and if that doesn't work, loosen the lines going to the injectors. This will allow the air to purge out at that connection.

5. Justin A Says: did you fill the new filter with fuel before putting it on. with diesels you have to pre fill the filter it sounds like that is your problem
