1. Mysterium Tremendum Says: i have a 93 prelude vtec h22 and its my first honda.... i like to drive kinda fast but i also dont wana mess anything up... i dont use the vtec every time i go but once or twice a day i like to... is that too often or is it made for that? also is there anything i could do to prevent any damage? thanks

3. Bill Says: If your putting your foot on the floor once a day your gonna ruin the car. That's just the bottom line. a vtech isn't even built for race. that motor is weak and is only good for daily driving. They last a long time under normal driving. And if you have over 100k and your beating it its gonna go sooner. vtechs are not fast. your 93 prelude is putting out 120hp at the most. They are only fast if you dump 10grand into them. then you can kiss it bye bye 10k later.

EDIT: okay stock it has 190hp. and take 17% from the drive train loss. that's 160hp. and your maybe with your little mods it could have 180 again. It is slow. you want fast come step into my ls1 then compare the two.
