1. Joe R. Says: So I'm 16 and have a new jersey special learners permit so I have to drive with a parent and everything. And tomorrow I'm going on vacation to Ohio, and my mom wants me to drive in New Jersey, however she was wondering if I can drive out of state just for a vocational trip? Thanks

2. maxstax Says: No definitely not with just a learners permit. You'll at least need a provisional license.

No other state besides Jersey would accept your permit.
