Beware though fords of that year had several diff ratios. You can find the ratio of your's by looking at the rear cover of the diff, there will be a small metal tag attached by one of the diff hat plate bolts. The ratio will be on that tag. Also if it's a Limited Slip Diff it will have a tag on the oil filler plug.LANDON ... Ford Australia have been making Fairmonts from the early sixty's right through to today's latest models.
