2006 PT Cruiser Engine Light Codes?
(2010-05-28 13:07:59) 1. Says: Just bought a used 2006 PT Cruiser and of course two days later the engine light came on. Got the codes to come up: P0139 and P0513. Any suggestions on what these are and how to fix them?2. Says: Gregory A nailed this one. Nothing I can add.3. Says: PO139 is for slow response time on the Bank 1 switch 2 02 sensor.PO513 is for an invalid skin key. I can only guess that this is for the key programming to the immobilizer for anti-theft.4. Says: P0139 is for the downstream oxygen sensor. Ensure you don't have an exhaust leak and then change the O2 sensor. P0513 is for an invalid skim key., at some point in time someone has put the wrong key or an unprogrammed key in in the ignition. after changing the O2 sensor disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to clear the codes.
