727 4 wheel drive to 2wd conversion?

1. TSNE Says: Can I just pull of the transfer case change the out put and tailshaft and call it good?
2. olde_lar Says: Yes, but that is quite a job. You have to take a lot of the unit apart to get the tail shaft out. You may want to sell the quad drive unit for the money and get a fresh 727.
3. D Says: WAY more work than it is worth. Just buy a 2WD version.
