Pros about twin turboes at the back of the exhaust?

1. Micky E Says: like what people do with corvettes. is there better performance? i know not a lot of people expect it in a race so conceal ability is a plus
2. Mike Says: Their really aren't any pros to the turbos being at the back of the exhaust other then having a place to put them when space is limited under the hood. It would be hard to fit them under the hood on a Corvette so that's why they're at the back. It's better to have the turbo closer to the engine if possible so it has less plumbing for the air to travel through.
3. vrsicks Says: You shouldn't be able to see the turbochargers from outside of the car, unless you're missing body panels. The only way someone will tell it's turboed (under normal driving) is if they hear the whistle or if it's equipped with a blowoff valve.

Turbos provide large power gains.
4. Matt Says: the only pro is a horsepower gain at higher rpms
the cons are
increased oil consumption
turbo lag
turbo whistle
overheating
shortened engine life
these can mostly be prevented but there is a risk to engine life
