1. Guess Who Says: How long should I let it sit on the side of the road before I try to restart it one more time?
2. Rob Says: Does it have oil in the engine's crankcase?

Did the engine's coolant overheat?

Is there coolant in the engine? (low or no coolant can register as low to normal on your water temp gauge)

Is there fuel in the gas tank? (high air temps can lead to a vapor lock)

Vapor Lock is when liquid fuel becomes vapor in the fuel lines, the fuel pump cannot pump vapor, only liquid fuel.

Let the car cool several minutes and try restarting.
