Good car for 16 year old girl?

(2011-06-30 14:30:14) 1. Kylie Smith Says: So im almost 16 and we've been looking at cars for a while now.
We are looking at cars under $15,000.
I really like coupes (especially the Altima) But im really open to anything.
I've test drove anything from a MINI cooper to a Camaro.
I really like the "sporty" look -- but I don't like convertibles. (Unless its a convertible hardtop:)

The only car brands im against is Kia (so no Soul's or anything like that.)

I could really use some suggestions as to what I should look at.

It all depends on what you feel comfortable with and like to drive. It would be good to get a copy of ConsmerReports buying guide on cars and see what they say is reliable, safe, comfortable, and affordable.3. GM Customer Svc Says: I’d suggest a Chevrolet Malibu.
