Ford, GM, or Chrysler?
(2011-07-08 14:30:08) 1. Says: My family's looking into buying a new sedan or crossover. Right now we have a 2000 Ford Taurus Wagon, it's been a good car, never broken down, but it's needing repairs a lot now that's it's older, which will get costly, so we'd just like to trade it in now for a new/used (no older than '09) vehicle. If it's a crossover type of vehicle it has to be almost as low as a sedan because my dad has MS and has trouble getting in and out, but he can still walk and drive alright. The vehicle would need to be automatic, fuel efficient, reliable (won't have major problems for up to 5 yrs.), spacious for 3 people and a wheel chair, and boxes etc. since we'll be moving from Ontario to Manitoba. We'd like the vehicle seats to fold down, have a power trunk/lift gate, an alarm, block heater for Manitoba (preferably|), and a gas tank door that can lock (preferably). We will be using it more for city driving unfortunately, but we'll get some highway driving in there too... So which makes and models in the big 3 would be recommended for us? Thanks!2. Says: Mitsubishi galant . Large sedan. Reliable cheap good economy not to high off the ground.Mitsubishi outback. Price space not to high off the ground and reliable.
Kia sedona minivan. Space reliable cheap and very low to the ground.
I don't recomend any american cars yet. They ussaly have issues within 2 years.3. Says: About the only one that I can think of is the Ford Flex or the Ford Transit Connect Van. This is because of the wheel chair problem. The Connect Van might not be able to found old enough to be affordable.4. Says: WELL i prefer my ford expedition i know its not a crossover ... but i love it... i sat and drove in escapes and edges and a flex as well all very nice.. and fit your descriptions...good luck!!5. For you to realize that those aren't the big 3.

The top 3, for 2011, are Honda, Subaru, and Toyota.
Buy something from them, if you want one of the best new cars.
Edit: Regardless of their nickname, they are NO LONGER the big 3. Learn something, before spouting idiotic statements. And yes, I will criticize what you have to say. You seem to be an idiot. Tag: Ford, GM, or Chrysler?
