Monroe Monro-Matic or Sensa-Trac struts?
(2011-07-12 14:20:17) 1. Says: 1998 mustang, about to replace struts. Wondering which of these is better, realistically. The Monro-Matics are $150 for all 4 corners, Sensa-Tracs are $220. $70 difference. It can be assumed the more expensive struts are better, but are they really? anyone with experience?And yes I know, there are much better options out there, like KYB, but I can't afford. Plus this is kind of time sensitive, gotta get them replaced this week and Monroes are the only ones available locally.2. Says: The Monro-Matic is a basic OEM replacement strut..The Sensa-Trac is an upgrade. Different valving adjusts oil flow inside of the strut according to driving and road conditions.
