Do Volkswagen GTI's and Jetta MK4's have the same hood?

1. Zack Says: I just bought a 2002 GTI 20v 2dr 1.8t and it needs a new hood and windshield, I was wondering if anyone knew if they fit or not, I know people do front end swaps and wanted to know because my junkyard doesn't have any MK4 GTI/Golf's only a few Jetta's.

2. eten_23 Says: No, they are not. Jetta hoods fit on all Jettas and GTI hoods fit on all GTIs, but they do not fit on each other, the headlight assemblies are different shapes.
