I think it's 15 now or is it 15 1/2 or 16 in Connecticut to hold a permit?
(2011-07-20 14:25:06) 1. Says: LEARNER'S PERMITFor most beginner drivers, the first step toward getting on the road is to obtain an instruction or learner's permit. You can get a learner's permit at the age of 15 if you are enrolled in a driver's education program. If you are not enrolled in a driver's education program, you can obtain a learner's permit if you are 15½ and have passed the knowledge test. For more information about learner's permits, see our Learner's Permit section.
So how long can I get my license after when I get my permit?2. Says: I don't know where you got that info above, but it wasn't from any official website in CT. You cannot get your permit in CT until you turn 16 - I am certain of this because I have two teen drivers in CT.
