Relay problems with a renault kangoo.?

1. kilkennybollard Says: The indicator,s in my renault kangoo are acting up. i got a new flasher unit fitted into the van 8 weeks ago.and it was going well for a while. the problem is that the indicators won,t click. i have to click the indicator my self to show where im going. any body have any idea whats wrong. its a 1.9 renault kangoo year 2000

2. helpful bob Says: First I'd double check the relay part number it's possible it's the wrong one or it's faulty, it should still be under replacement warranty.What I'd recommend that you do is try replacing all the flasher/signal bulbs bec bad or faulty bulbs can cause such problems too.

Hope that helps and best of luck.By the way the if the emg flashers or signals are both controlled via the same relay it's possible the bulb/bulbs have a short or the relay isn't fully plugged in right or the relay is faulty.Note most of the time when the signals or hazard lights won't flash it's a faulty bulb and it helps to start with brand new bulbs, just keep any bulbs that are still good as spares.
