Says: So, i've been learning to drive a manual for about a year now..i failed my driving test and really just want to drive now im fed up of getting buses! also i have a baby on the way in 3 weeks and don't like the thought of getting buses all the time with him, so my friend who had the same problem with not being able to get the hang of a manual suggested i tryed automatic lessons as she did and passed her automatic test first time.I would take the test for a manual again in the future but i just think automatic will do for now, is it a good idea?2. Says: The gap between automatic and manual has gotten really close in modern cars. It used to be a large gap in power and fuel economy but now its about even. The big advantage to an automatic is when you are in stop and go traffic. Your leg wont get soar from clutching so much!3. Says: I think with a kid on the way you have more important things to do.
