My Honda civic 2010 heat thermometer thing goes almost halfway n then goes back to normal?

Says: like start up the carr, theres only 1 cube showingg then afterr driving like about 1-5 minutes it goes almost half way then it doesn't heat up fast after thattt. like i drovee almost for 2 hours straighttt the it barelyy went up , andd what i dont get it from the starttt the heatt thing thermometer goess up half way in 5 minutes then aftter that the meter doesnt go up fast it goes up normal2.
