Says: I don't know how exactly to explain it other than give symptoms. sometimes more increasingly when I start the car the engine will idle low or rough until I give it some gas, while its in park. I can also be driving and come up to a stop sign or stop light, and it will idle low or rough, but not all the time. I dont think its the transmission because it happens while in park, I recently changed the spark plugs and cables to see if that was the problem but its still doing it. Today I put some fuel injector cleaner in it tonight to see if it might be the injector or carberator. does anyone have any ideas as to the problem... if you want to know more just ask because I will be cheking this about every ten minutes.2. 1.) You should have changed the cap and rotor if your engine has one.
.) I'd check for codes in the computer. This can be done with a borrowed code reader from many parts stores. Autozone for example will read the codes for you and tell you what parts you might need to fix it.
.) You may have a vacuum leak. A cracked intake manifold could be the problem.
.) The Mass Airflow sensor may be bad and feeding the computer bogus info re: engine condition.
.) You could have damaged injectors Unless your Jeep is quite old, it does not have a carburetor.
