Knocking and shaking when breaking?

Says: my 05 dodge ram shakes very badly when breaking at pretty much any speed. also makes a knocking noise. had one mechanic replace the u joint and the noise wasnt as bad. the rotor and break pads are in good condition. control arm bushing are good too.2. Says: You have a warped rotor. Who told you it was good?None of the things that Pete mentioned would be a problem only while breaking. If any of these things caused the car to shake, it would shake all the time.3. Says: Lots of possible reasons for shaking:
Tie Rods
Idler Arms
Ball Joints
Bent Wheel
Mismatched Tires
Steering Stabilizer
Front End Alignment
Out of Balance Wheel
Low air pressure in Tire
