Does the Mercedes CL500 have cylinder deactivation?

Danny Says: apparently the 2000-2003 Cl600 (naturally aspirated v12) has cylinder deactivation and therefore it has better fuel economy than the CL500 of the same time period, but the official figure of the 2003-2005 CL500 is much better than the naturally aspirated v12, so im wondering if the 2003-2005 CL500 has it as well?2.
