2000 Ford focus bottom engine spoiler?

Ryan Kirsch Says: I called ford and tried to explain the part i wanted but the guy had no idea what i was talking about. its the plastic piece like a spoiler behind the front bumper mounted to the bottom of the car that pushes air into the engine bay and helps to cool the engine at high speeds, mine broke off. whats the name of this part so i can call ford and tell them what I'm looking for?

Davey Says: Chevy calls it an air dam. Your right, it stops (dams) the air from going under the car and directs it to the radiator. 70s Camaros and many other cars WILL overheat without it on the car.

Kevin Gauthier Says: if it does have a specific and precise name he may still not have it in his computer system, they're not perfect, he may barely even see it on his screen when he opens a diagram. it's probably easier to go and tell him to look at what you need. parts guys seem to think they're **** doesn't stink, often, you may be dealing with a guy who not only is ill equipped for this need (i want to be specific, they are usually very good) and overly proud parts "technician"
