(2010-05-28 13:20:30) 1. Says: The car turns so it sounds like its about to start but it doesnt. It's not the battery cause when I turn the ignition it the engone turns but it doesnt start. Any idea what the problem might be. I already replaced the ignition cylinder. This problem happened before but not a lot. I just want to fix the problem before this happens when i'm far from home2. Says: Similar to what happened to me. the battery failed under load. Car wouldnt start. Towed it to a shop, and the tech checked it out, told me the battery failed under load. It starts the electronics, but not the engine because it loses charge. See if that it, if not, try fuel pump, or starter motor/solenoid, Spark plugs and wires. Thats what i think.3. Says: Get some petrol. Put it in your vehicle, turn key. It should start. If it does not, drain the fuel, empty onto the car this time, and light match.4. Says: turn the vehicle to the on position and go listen to the fuel tank. does it sound like the fuel pump is on.if not you will have to go to the diagnostics box and turn it on with the jumpers5. Says: Try asking someone who cares6. Says: check the obv ****, fuel pump, starter, its prob not the alternator. spark plugs?7. Says: Have you been in an accident?8. Says: wind it up. or if your not poor put gas in it. Tag: My 96 Ford Explorer won't start?
