Replacing drivers seat foam yourself in a truck?

(2011-08-11 14:20:08)
1. well aren't you sweet. Says: I drive a 98 ford f150 and the drivers seat cushion is terrible, I wanted to take the seat out completely and just replace the foam. However I cant even get the bolts to budge.. so I'm kind of stuck right now.
Any tips, I want to do this myself, but for some reason I cant find any help on how to do this or even an easier way if possible to replace the foam on the internet..

If anyone could help that'd be great!
Thanks
2. John Says: clean around the bolts well--spray with WD 40 WELL!! saturate them puppies --let set for little bit--tap bolt head /nuts with hammer to allow wd 40 to penetrate--use six point socket or six point wrench so you have good fit-take 'em off---after removing seat cover-replace foam-replace seat-have fun-scrape some knuckles--cuss a little bit-thats what it is all about--buy yourself a service manual at Auto zone or auto part store--read it -use it-learn new skills
3. robert christerson Says: i torch or grind mine out - if they dont come out - the grinder or torch come out
