Engine starter sometimes will not turn?

Curtis Starnes Says: Sounds like to me the starter solenoid is either wore out or burnt up. Pull it off the vehicle and take it to your nearest parts place and they will test it. Easy fix. May cost a little cash though. You also may have a bad battery connection, that will lower the amperage going to the starter until it gets warm.3. done wrenching Says: I'll bet it has well over 100k miles, and you need a new starter..
