I Need Help Deciding What Car To Buy?

I'm looking for a car i can buy for around $4,000 or $5,000 but have a sporty look, get at least 20+ mpg, and be a decent car to tune up to have a little fun with. I have a few ideas like a 3000gt or an eclipse but i can't find any around my area that are what im looking for. I prefer cars of the mid-90's or younger. I'd also like to stay away from camaros and mustangs because to many people own those. I'll be using it for a daily driver but would like to also be able to make it a decent drag car for a 17 year old since that's how old i am and my friends like to do 1/4 and half mile drags on the local highways. If you have any ideas or suggestions i would greatly appreciate them. THANKS!2. cbclax Says: get a mark 3 toyota supra. its around the years that youre looking for and the price range. its got a 7m-gte if you get the turbo version, which is quite fast and has great reliability. it also handles a lot better than mustangs and camaros (quarter mile times aren't everything) if you put a bigger turbo in the car it will be very fast. or like someone else mentioned the 240sx is a great car especially if you want to drift which is more fun than drag anyways.3.
