How to get over fear of driving?

1. John Says: I am 16 years old and got my permit 2 months ago. I have driven on the main road once in my life for about 2 minutes after I practiced at my school. I did good but over the next couple days some wrecks occurred near my house. Now I am scared to drive and have not driven in over a month. I don't feel comfortable in my moms truck a 2007 silverado Chevy. Getting another vehicle is out of the question. Today my parents asked about me driving on a course that is about 8 miles long and mostly straight with only 1 road being a main road about 2 miles long.

How can I drop my fear of driving?

2. diana Says: you must have self confidence and convince your self that you are up to it and that you are a good driver and focus on the road and the people that drive aren't better than you if they can do it so can you , just take a deep breath and drive try to put some good music that help you to relax and drive at day light .

3. zachtheace Says: The only thin to fear is fear itself. Once you get on the road and keep driving and driving you will gradually become more experienced and with good experience comes confidence and with confidence comes comfort. You have to drive to get over your fear of driving
