Says: i,am thinking about buying a ford f-150 4 wheel drive. what would you rather drive? a car or truck and why. i like trucks because you sit up higher and they are,nt as hard on the back. but i want a automatic because where i drive there is a lot of traffic.2. Says: any thing not computer controlled. as they suck.3. Says: If you drive where there is a lot of traffic, it is most likely city driving. For purely economic reasons, you should drive a small coupe or sedan that gets good mileage and has low maintenance costs. Something less than 5 years old, but not dealer new. I have never known trucks to be better on the back, because the ride is rougher overall. However, if you want a vehicle to pick up girls or perform some regular hauling, a medium size truck can be a good choice. 4 wheel drive is usually overkill unless you live someplace where it snows regularly.4. Says: You drive whatever you're comfortable with.Like you, I like a high profile car, van or truck, and for the last twenty years have been driving a Ford van. Easy to get in and out of.
I also own a Dodge 2000 Intrepid, a real bear to get in and out, so it goes without saying, that vehicle does not get much use, under 3000 miles in one year.5. Says: You could get a Mitsubishi Sportage, $13K for the fully decked out one, which includes a sport mode for when you wanna have fun with paddleshifters and what not, but it comes automatic so its great in traffic. Its roomy for a SUV, able to haul things and its great on gas. My sister bought one and its a great commute/city/fun ride. and you arent on the ground like most cars leave you.
