Junk Cars In My Yard?

1. Dre Says: I have 6 cars on my lawn that people have dropped off and havn't come in 5 or more years to pick them up. I have called them to pick them up or left messages, and on a few had a wrong number. I want them away, I don't have titles for them so what do I do. I can't sell them or give them away to a junk yard without the title.
What do I do to get the titles?

Gary Says: if a car is left at a place for an exteneded period of time you can get a lien agaisnt the title. for example, some people have dropped off cars at aq mechanic shop, and upon the work being finished they never pay for the work, and never come get it. after so much time, 5 years is definatly long enough, the mechanic can get a mechanics lean against the title, where the state will issue a new title in the name of the mechanic. the car now belongs to him, he may do with it what he pleases. id guess you can use this lien process to get the cars into your name, then you can seel them to a slavage yard, and make a few bucks
