Car wouldn't let go of keys and oil light came on?

(2011-09-10 14:20:17) 1. the_power_of_prayer Says: When I got to work today I parked my car like usual and when I went to pull the keys out the ignition would not let them go! And the oil light came on. I thought maybe I hadn't put it in park or something but everything was as it should be. I drove it around the parking lot, the oil light went off, and it drove fine, I parked it and then it let my keys go and it was fine. This was the first time since I've had the car that the oil light has come on.

I get my oil changed every time it needs it and it's not due for another oil change for like another 150 miles, so not sure what that's all about, could it just need more oil? Or was it just a fluke or something like my key maybe bent?2. Nomadd Says: The oil light comes on every time you have the key on without the engine running.
