Car won't start plz help!!?

1. S.S. Minnow-Johnson Says: I was out running some errands and I stopped by a corner store near my home, after I made my buys which took maybe 5 min, I came back out hopped in my car and nothing worked. No lights, cd player, no beeping when the kjeys in the ignition switch, and nothing happens when turn the key. While waiting for AAA to have a tow truck sent out, I put the key in the ignition and the dash started flickering, but as soon as put foot on brake pedal everything cuts back out. Once I had it towed home, I had the tow truck driver try charging the battery and the car turned over and came on, but as soon as I pulled it forward some it died again. I'm going to try to get it to a shop, but I just want to get a idea on what it may be. Its a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo. 4.7 liter engine. About 100,000 miles on it. Thanks.

2. Gary Says: most likely battery, but check connections on bat. need to be clean and tight. Get bat. recharged and load tested replace if needed also after that check charging system too. To do thorough job.

3. Gingivitis Says: if its not the battery it could mean ur battery wires are corroded. Also it could be ur alternator. My car did the exact same thing urs did, was an alternator issue.
