Car engine problems on saturn car?

(2011-10-14 14:20:08) 1. darkwave420 Says: this is happening to 2 high mileage 97 and 99 saturns. when idling after turning they have this sound like they are gasping for air. like when you run out of gas while driving but it doesn't die. when you give it some gas it goes away but as soon as you let it idle again it starts making that sound. letting the engine heat up doesn't help and the check engine light never comes on. does this sound like a spark plug issue or something else?2. Techno Alien Says: thats because the engines wear out and everyone else does too. I know it will cost a lot of money to get the problem solved.
