WTF Says: I have a 94 camry and it runs great but when it is first started and i try driving it doesn't pick up when i press on the gas and it feels like its stalling but its not. I think it might need to be warmed up because when it does this the temperature gauge is as low on the cool side as it can go. Also recently on cold mornings the car has a hard time starting up until i give it some gas. Any advice?

bobweb Says: Check your basic maintenance items in your owner's manual. If the fuel filter hasn't been replaced in 50,000 miles, change it now or if you've consistently run the fuel tank low or run out of gas, replace the fuel filter. That's one maintenance item to start off with. Next, if you have spark plug wires that have never been replaced, replace them now with a new set. Make sure the spark plugs don't need replacing (read your manual).

Jason H Says: You need a tune up and fuel system cleaning. I would recomend you get the cylinder compression tested just to be sure your engine is healthy.

bandit_60 Says: it could be a dirty fuel filter slowing down the flow of gas to the engine.
