Best bet- use the police report to lever the EMS into paying. If the EMS was "at fault," they should pay. If the police report says the EMS was not at fault, you'll have to pay for the repairs yourself. And you may have to pay for repair to the EMS. Can't tell without knowing what the police report says.

After you get your car fixed, get insurance. Don't let unlicensed people drive your car. (This might void your insurance.) Good luck!!

3. skyking Says: You are on the hook for all the damages REGARDLESS of who was at fault as an uninsured car was not to be on the road in the first place and the un licensed driver was not supposed to be on the road either.
If you and your pal were not charged i will be very surprised.
Uninsured car: At least a $5000 fine where i come from for the first offence.
No License: $200-$500 buck fine.
And i will not be surprised if you are sued by EMS for damages to their vehicle.
