Would my car show any signs if air bag was not installed properly?
(2011-10-22 14:20:25) 1. Says: I just had a dealer replace my steering wheel, and they were supposed to put the airbag from the old one to the new one. How do I know they did it? Would anything in the car let me know if something was not right? They r kinda in a raggity part of town, and I just moved here so I don't know how reliable they are.2. Says: The only way to really know would be to take it to a reputable air bag installer and have them check it, you would have a light on if there was an issue maybe.Go to a certified air bag installer.
Raggity places will steal your airbag and sell it, a reputable certified installer will be able to find out quickly, the air bags are pretty easy to change so they can check quickly.
