Why are most car dealerships located near each other?

1. Abby Says: Because they are located at key locations. They want to remind you that while you are looking at this cool camry over here there is a nice accord right on the other lot that you might want to have a look into. I really think it's so you can compare cars. Car companies are confident with their cars.
2. J.J. Dicky Says: It's all for the competition you know what i mean like if some dude is selling lemonade for 50 cents but then you notice he's making all the money so you get smart and are like wait why don't i also sell lemonade too and i'll sell it for 35 cents instead of 50 cents. Everybody wants in on the money and no one wants to be left out why do you think drug dealers kill each other over a stupid street corner.
3. Christian Montero Says: So they can compete. In Toledo Ohio for example, most of the dealers are on Central ave, known as "The central strip".

One lot might have Kia's and the next one Buicks. Gives people a chance to compare and also have the dealers fight for your business.
4. Polisheagle1980 Says: It makes it easily for buyers to compare and buy. If will didn't have shopping centres will would have to drive around for every shop. Clothing then drive to get grocery and then drive to get electronics and then drive to get whitegoods and so.
5. DrkLce Says: Low rent/good traffic.
6. Never Says: so buyers don,t have to drive all over town.
