How to get my blazer heater hotter?

2. Blair Says: You should have a 195 degree t stat . But if your antifreeze is full these autos had a problem with the heater core plugging up . They are farely easy to back flush .

3. fire4511 Says: Check your coolant level, and make sure that it is full. If you are hearing coolant entering the heater core, the chances are that the coolant level is low. You need to have the coolant full not only for proper engine operation and long life, but also to provide heat in the vehicle.

4. astrobuf Says: Do not change the thermostat to a higher temperature, this will screw up the cars computer.

IF the heater is not putting ot enough hot air, you have:

1.) A partially lugged heater core - repalce it
or
2.) A broken blend door motor -repair or replace it.
