Changing the shocks on my 98 Honda Civic Hatch back?
(2011-11-02 14:15:14) 1. Says: Hi, I bought my first car a few months ago and now the shocks are all worn out. I have a 98 honda civic hatch back. I got it with some adjustable shocks. (Not the stock shocks) My problem is, what do I buy to change them? Do I buy just the shocks or by the complete setup with spring and all? What exactly do I get? The car is lowered and I like it that way. Putting on the original shocks would bring it up to where it was from factory... Please help...PS: do I have shocks or struts?2. Says: Depending on what after market set up you have, some accept costumers to send in their worn out shocks for service/repair.
Now if you don't have the full set up, you can just buy some aftermarket shocks to replace the worn out shocks. The height of your car depends on the spring so even changing to stock shocks will not bring you back to factory height. (not recommend to use stock shocks with aftermarket lowering spring) Tag: Changing the shocks on my 98 Honda Civic Hatch back?
