1. david Says: Some times when drivers exit a car they use the steering wheel as a handle and do the same when getting in. This puts some stress on the locking mechanism that is a anti-theft device. So the steering wheel has to be turned a little bit to free the mechanism up so the key will turn.
I don't understand the radio and dashboard part.
Be glad you know to get the stress off the locking mechanism, some drivers spend a lot of money trying to fix something that is not broken to cure this.
