My 2003 ford windstar the batterey light started comeing on?

(2011-11-06 14:15:08) 1. kwame Says: the batterey light kept comeing on and off went to auto zone has the batterey and alternator checked out they said they were good and to try to clean the batterey teminals i did that and it is still happening so i got an alternator and replaced it but when i did it would not start it would turn over and run for a sec then would cut off so i figured i had the belt on wrong i went online and got the correct diagram are which i think is the correct diagram since there is no diagram under the hood i re did the belt and it still turns over and runs for a sec then cuts off can any one help maybe i have the belt wrong and if so where can i get the correct diagram2. Michael B Says: Possible bad alternator that you put on just put the old one back on and see what happens.
