1997 Chevy Blazer, where is the fuel pump and fuel filter located?
(2010-05-29 10:23:32) 1. Says: I was lookin online for diagrams, but cant find any.2. Says: the fuel pump is located in the fuel tank...it,s part of sender unit ...accessible only through the top of the fuel tank which mean,s the tank must be lowered or removed. the fuel filter is mounted on the inside of the frame rail [ driver,s side ] between the tank & engine compartment...just follow the fuel line to the filter....change filter first...it,s much easier than the pump.3. Says: Fuel pump is located at the top-rear of the gas tank. It's a bit of a job to replace, and is problematic on that vehicle.4. Says: Fuel pump is inside the fuel tank at the rear of the vehicle. The fuel filter is located on the drivers side underneath the vehicle.5. Says: FUEL PUMP IS IN THE TANK AND A FUEL FILTER IS ON THE FRAME, SOMETHERE BETWEENA TANK AND AN ENGINE...
