Why Won't My Gas Go In?

Today, the car died twice. On the way to work, it died just as I rolled up to the gas station. I put 2 gallons in. 30 miles later, it was dead again.
I tried to fill it up at the gas station, but I was only able to get $2.75 in. Stupid me I decided to try to make it the last 3 miles home and never made it. I got another gallon of gas and it just kept spilling out. The gas that's in there is just sitting there. My husband keeps telling me to give it time and the tank will open up. Is there anything else I can do?

2. H² 4Ever Says: To me this doesn't sound like a gas issue at all. If its full, its full. You may have another issue causing your problem. Fuel filter, fuel pump, etc.... You'd probably be best off getting it diagnosed by a mechanic.

3. Jimmy Says: Sounds like another issue take the car to someone who is familiar with auto repair.

4. Big Says: you will have more gas if you eat spicy food..

I ate some indian kebab today and farted so much even my poop came out.
