Auto AC question 98 Nissan Altima?

(2011-11-12 15:20:06) 1. Joe Says: 98 Nissan Altima----turn on the AC and it blows Ice cold. If the weather outside is cool it will blow cold all day, if the weather gets hot (here in Phoenix) then the AC will be Ice cold for roughly 15 minutes and BOOM! no more cold air. Turn it off for three minutes and walla, cold air again for another 5 minutes. WTH is up with this?2. Chris Says: sounds like the evaporator is icing. this can be caused by a restriction in the ac system or because of overcharging it.3. bandit_60 Says: have the freon checked. it might be too full.
