My car was Sputtering and losing power now it died and wont restart at all. What could Be causing this ?
(2011-11-16 15:20:06) 1. Says: I have a 1999 Hyundai Sonata and it has been driving a little rough the last couple months and died at a red Light a couple times. Today I started losing power on the way to work so I took it back home. Now I started it, And it Idled really high on its own, And then died and now won't restart. What could be causing this to Happen ?2. Says: The problem with cars, is that there are so many things that can affect the running. Gas pressure low .... bad fuel pump...plugged fuel filter.....plugged injectors....spark plugs fowled.Not to mention sensors, like Throttle position sensor, Idle Air Control, Air flow sensor.
And electronically, distributor, coil, spark plugs, wires...etc.
Take it to a qualified mechanic.3. Says: 1 ever tune it since 1999
2 check engine lights actually MEAN something,,duh
3 it was running bad for the last couple months,,you had time to drive to mechanic and fix it cheaply,,but nooo,,now your stuck
4 whats causing it? you got to be joking..Lack of intelligent ownership
call mechanic or AAA doubt you have it though4. Says: It needs to be taken in for repairs.5. Says: battery? engine...ask a mechanic6.
