1. TIMtheMAN-Scoggs Says: I don't really know how to explain it, I think that they are used for towing and I have seen stuff tied to the roof using them, but what are the two metal things at the front of some trucks called? Is there a name for them? In this picture the are next to the mini headlights http://www.4wheelsnews.com/images/news/12644/2011_gmc_denali_3500_hd.jpg

Also, what are the mini headlights called?
2. zoobiemz Says: They are recovery hooks.. They are mounted right to the frame to pull usually other trucks out of things but since they are mounted fairly strong to the frame you can use them to pull things from the front. The lights are fog lights. its not unusual to have two hooks you can equal out the load over the width of the truck causing equal pulling force with out either car shifting to the side.
3. DR + Mrs Bears face Says: Hi how unusual to have two towing hooks instead of just one, most have just the one on the same side as where the steering wheel is as it relates to which country the car is used in.
