If you leave your car running will it use your gas? ?

2. Steph Binding Says: A little bit of thought here...... hmmmmm.... ummmmmmm...... Yes. everytime you start and run your engine you are using gas that is in your gas tank. The only time it doesn't use YOUR gas is if someone else filled your tank and paid for it.
3. Dan H Says: No, it uses the gas from the vehicle parked next to it.:-> Of course it uses gas anytime the engine is running!
4. Scott H Says: Obviously, hence the word "running" - the engine doesn't run on air.
5. Nader Says: Yes, of course. A car runs on a "combustion engine" which means it must have fuel to ignite in order to run.
6. Alison Says: no engines run on sunshine and rainbows. you only burn gas when you are moving.
