If u call a taxi and don't take it can they charge you?

Says: yes they can charge you for the trip to the location you called them to unless they are extremely late. If you call back and cancel normally this will not be a concern though.Not all taxis go by the mile. Some have a flat fee in town, and if they cannot find you it's kind of hard to make you pay.3. Says: I used to be a taxi driver and taxi's can charge you as soon as they get outside your house and are waiting for you to come out. I never did because I thought it was ripping people off but they still do it today if they want to be stupid about it.4. Says: No because you did not take it. The taxi gets paid after you tell them where they are taking you. And you start at a flat rate and then they charge per every mile taken. No money happens before they begin there trip with you.5. Says: NO! but if ride & choice not to pay. the cab driver can take u back & leave u where u started or he/she can call the cops & have u charged. (jail time for that can be put in place)
