What should I do to add more horsepower to my 05 scion xb?

I don't have a lot of money but I have a bit I can spend if it's something that helps me with horsepower. I just got new plugs, coolent flush, elignment, new tires,all the small stuff, now I'm ready to buy some performance parts.. Please help! Thanksmandi ;)2. The only thing a CAI will do notably will make the engine tone a bit cleaner, and add a bit of throttle response. No normal driver can feel a 5 hp increase. If you want to actually boost your horsepower either 1. get a new car, or 2. get a supercharger. For around 4-6K on a supercharger you can really add some adrenaline to your daily driving.4. Says: i have a scion xb. magnaflow makes a cat-back exhaust system. there are a few good header companies out there.also carbon fiber parts will make your car lighter and in turn faster. maybe what they call a short shifter will make it seem faster. hope thats a good start6.
