19 year old looking to get a new, or used kia forte koup, or mazda rx8, or mazda 6?
(2011-11-23 15:30:13) 1. Says: I'm 19, and have no credit history. I've been on the same job for about 6 months, to a year, but have been working from a staffing agency, but recently just got hired on from the company. I will have about 1,000 down, to 1,500 down. The car I want is around 17,000 for the used one. I'm also looking into a Mazda 6, or a RX8. Please help.2. Says: What are you looking for? Personally I actually recommend the RX8. Many people who don't know a thing about Rotary engines and only believe what they read shouldn't talk. Many people who own Rotary engines have them last well over 200,000 miles. Why? They take care of them. Yes, it is high maintenance car. Yes, it burns oil (About a quart every few thousand). Yes, it only gets, on average, 17-25 MPG. But many people haven't driven one of these to experience what it is like. When you have the amount of power coming out of such a small engine, you get speed speed speed. But more importantly, the RX8 is one of the most advanced track cars there is - By this, I mean that it is extremely well in corners.
A stock RX8 can easily beat a M3, V8 Mustang/Camaro around corners, streets, a track, etc. simply because of its handling. It has superb handling compared to most cars available on the market today.
That is my recommendation. Buy an RX8, maintain it and be proud of it! Be proud that it is different! Be proud you actually like to appreciate and take care of a great car!3. Says: No credit history means no auto loan for you. You'll need a co-signer, preferably a family member.
Stay away from the RX8. It's unreliable and burns oil like it's gasoline. The other two are good, though.4. Says: RX8 = high maintenence and unreliable, otherwise great car. If it would be your only car I highly recommend getting something else. Tag: 19 year old looking to get a new, or used kia forte koup, or mazda rx8, or mazda 6?
