Grinding/Vibrating noise during acceleration and right turn? 1997 grand am 2.4?
(2011-11-26 15:20:33) 1. Says: My car makes a vibrating grinding noise when i accelerate hard and make right turns while accelerating. Could this be the engine mounts? I have watched it move alot when going from park to drive. I recently replaced the timing chain and water pump myself, so the passenger upper mount should be tight since it bolts through the chain cover. Are there any other things that it could be that i can check?2. Says: To me it sounds like your have a bad CV joint. Jack up your car and check them out make sure the rubber boots are good on the outer and inners once.3.
