Is the Honda Civic a good car?
(2011-11-27 15:15:36) 1. Says: I'm considering buying the Honda Civic LX 2009, and it would be my first car. I didn't drive it, but I rode it in when my dad did. I thought the ride was smooth and quiet, but I've been reading reviews online. Many people said that Honda's overrated, that the driver seat has bad blind spots, the heating controls are bad, etc. I understand that it's a matter of personal preference, but I was wondering what you know about the Honda Civic? thanks :)2. Says: I love my Civic. I have a 2003 Civic EX (Now 8 years old) and have not had a single problem with it. The ride is comfortable, it handles nicely, high safety ratings, great gas mileage, comfortable, and reliable. LIke I said, 8 years and no issues. Says: it is a great car in reliability and gas mileage. they have a nice ride and are comfy and quite. but techno creep doesnt know anything about hondas and knows nothing except them looking cheap, my advice would be to buy a higher grade civic like an ex or si, the lx along with dx is the lowest gradeex for niceness and vtec engine and gas mileage
si for sportyness and dual overhead camshaft vtec
lx for family and gas mileage
a bonus is honda parts arent expensive4. Says: Civics (and Accords too) are great first cars. Hondas can last for years and years as long as they're properly maintained. Did you sit in the drivers seat at all? I recommend do thing that. You don't have to drive it around just yet, but sit in it and make sure you can adjust the mirrors to your liking, play with the knobs for heat/air and radio. Just see if it's a good fit for you.
