Do you drive a car, or is it easy to get around without one?

2. dman63 Says: We're in Toronto, and the streetcar stops in front of our apartment building. My wife and I both work downtown, so getting around is easy. Most of the stores and restaurants we frequent are within walking distance as well, and I ride my bike to work from March through November. We haven't owned a car in years - we just rent one if we're heading out of town, or we catch a ride with friends and chip in for gas.

i live down in NC, so i need a car.

I used to live in garner, so it was 20 minutes by car to go anywhere, so you have to have a car
i live in a more tightly packed area now, but a car is still pretty important here.

Not much snow here, so a motorcycle can work, but id rather go by car

I would die in NYC, cars are my life anyways
